Without early financial literacy, children are far more likely to grow into adults who struggle with debt, poor credit, and high financial costs. We’re on a mission to prevent that and you can help.
Financial literacy is rarely taught in elementary classrooms — and almost never in ways that feel fun, relatable, and easy to understand. As a result, many children, especially those from low-income households, miss out on early money skills that build the foundation for financial independence, stability, and success.
That’s where Finance Funatics comes in.
Our Path to Financial Success program gives elementary-aged children their first real education in how money works. Led by Julia and Kevin — the young financial literacy duo — we make learning about money fun, exciting, empowering, and confidence-building for kids of all backgrounds.

About the Program
The Path to Financial Success is an 8 – step online financial literacy program created by the Finance Funatics team of educators and financial professionals.
The program is peer led by our fun and relatable kid instructors, Kevin and Julia. This guided experience helps kids build real-world money skills through engaging lessons, interactive activities, and fun challenges.
With new content released each week, kids learn at a steady, family-friendly pace — all while having fun, building confidence, and learning money habits that could last a lifetime.

Q: What exactly does my sponsorship pay for?
A: Each $250 covers the full tuition for one child in Metro Detroit to participate in our Path to Financial Success program. It includes weekly online instruction, lessons, challenges, and activities.
Q: Do I get to know which child I’m sponsoring?
A: To protect privacy, we don’t share individual information. Upon request, child sponsors can receive a recap with how many kids were served, and impact information.
Q: Can I sponsor a specific city or group?
A: We do our best to match sponsor interests. If you’d like to support children from a specific community or organization, let us know and we’ll try to make it happen.
Q: Will my business be publicly recognized?
A: All sponsors over $250 are recognized on our social media. Depending on your sponsorship tier, you may also receive a thank-you video, and more.
Q: Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?
A: Finance Funatics is a for-profit enterprise, so sponsorships are not tax-deductible. However, your support directly helps youth gain important financial skills.
Additionally, we have a pending non-profit Finance Funatics Cares, Inc. through which if approved DONATIONS made to that organization after October 2025 may be deductible if/when approved.
Q: How do I make my payment?
A: After submitting the sponsor form, we’ll send you a secure payment link and confirm all your benefits. Sponsorships can be paid online via credit/debit card, . We accept credit and debit cards online, as well as Zelle and Cash App for added flexibility. Prefer to give by check, cash, or in person? Just email us and we’ll make arrangements!
